This Event will recognise the amazing effort put in by our First Responders and Frontline Workers during the pandemic. Consequences of Lost Natural Habitat - (Chair - Fabienne Nichola)

Marie studied medical science at RMIT then Immunology at Monash. Marie also has a Master of Arts in Development Studies. Marie worked in pathology at Western Hospital after hours, then moved to Virology at the Fairfield hospital where she was the high security scientist. When Fairfield closed the laboratories became the Victorian Infectious Diseases Reference Laboratories, eventually moving to the Doherty Institute. Marie has been a member of the Rotary Club of Southern Mitchell for 21 years and has always had an interest in Human Rights and International Politics. |

This event is organised by the Vocational Committee for all members, partners and friends and includes a tour at the Temple Brewing Co in Brunswick East and a dinner on WEDNESDAY 23rd of March 2022. Brewed in the heart of Melbourne, Temple Brewing Co. offers a wide range of craft beers for the locals. From pale ales to stouts, they have got all bases covered. All of Temple’s craft beers are freshly brewed on premises in their state-of-the-art brewhouse, just footsteps away from where we can it. Brewed only using premium grade ingredients, it doesn’t get any fresher than this. We will start at 6.00 PM with a tour at the brewery till 6.30 PM and a meal to start at 6.45 PM. Please make a booking including payment through ClubRunner by closing date: Friday 18th March 2022 1.00 PM. Cost for dinner is $40.00 per head (drinks at own expense) The meal will be a FEIJOADA FEAST - traditional black beans Brazilian stew with pork cuts, sausages and also “carne seca” (house made jerked beef) served in plates to share with classic sides of Plain Rice, Chips, Pan fried garlic “cove” (Chinese broccoli), Orange and Farofa (seasoned cassava toasted crumbs). Vegetarian and Gluten-free option available on prior request - note in the comments section of your registration.
