2022 Changeover Dinner

It was a wonderful night had by all at this year's changeover dinner, as we thank outgoing President Patrick for his service and welcome incoming President Fabienne.
What a fantastic night it was, to celebrate another year in Rotary and to welcome our new President, Fabienne Nichola, who inspired the room with a thoughtful and forward-looking inaugural speech, concluding by imploring us all to IMAGINE. President Fabienne has assembled a strong team to lead the club this next year, hopefully the first in some time that will not be impacted to a great degree by the pandemic. A huge credit to outgoing President, Patrick Docherty, who has led the club through a very challenging time.

The changeover dinner was a wonderful chance to welcome a number of fellow Rotarians and dignitaries, as well as family and friends of the club. Held at the Amora Hotel in Richmond, the night recognised outstanding achievements from a number of members, notably, Murray Anderson and Alan Lorenzini, who were presented with the Paul Harris Fellow recognition for their tireless work over the past year. The night was topped off by the first new member induction of the year, welcome to the club Mr Paul Casha!

MC for the evening, President Elect, George de Souza, ran a tight ship on the night. It made for a wonderful celebration of fellowship and service and enabled ample time for some fancy footwork to be on show. With live music courtesy of the President's close friends, the night came to a close in a wonderful spirit as the club prepares for a busy and fulfilling year ahead.
