Feeding Refugees in lockdown has become a major concern. Camberwell Rotary is lending it's support to this need.

Victorias Asylum Seeker Resource Centre has been providing groceries for Asylum Seekers for some time. Demand for their assistance has increased during Covid 19 lockdown as other sources, such as churches, have dried up. Members of the Rotary Club of Camberwell have risen to the challenge of helping with the higher demand by collecting groceries and delivering them to the ASRC depot in Fitzroy North. Members buy extra during their weekly shop, separate their personal purchases from the those they are giving and contact the club member collecting donations. When a car boot load is gathered a trip to the depot is made to hand over the fare.
