It was fabulous to have acting CEO of Ambulance Victoria Libby Murphy as our guest speaker, her heartfelt & informative address on leadership gave us a true insight into the stresses and strains of those charged with the reasonability of providing leadership within our Police and Emergency Services and a greater appreciation of challenges faced by first responders. One of the highlights as a club president, is being able to recognise fellow Rotarians for outstanding service, and on Wednesday night I had the great pleasure of Presenting John Steven with his 35 year plus recognition plaque. John was inducted as a Camberwell Rotarian on the 30th May 1979, it’s been an amazing Rotary story, John has made a tremendous contribution to the community, congratulations John on your dedication, commitment and passion as a Camberwell Rotarian.
