We gather together on the lands of the traditional custodians, the Wurundjeri and Woi Wurrung people. We pay our respects to all of Melbourneโs First Peoples, to their ancestors and Elders, and to our shared future together.

I was thrilled for the membersโ response to the โEach one bring oneโ at our last meeting. A total of 9 prospective members attended (pictured above). Thank you to Adrian Campbell, George de Souza, Murray Anderson, Teresa Molella and David Baker for their respective guests. I too brought along a guest.
A selected number of projects were showcased by our committee leaders as part of Club Assembly. This was a fantastic opportunity to share the stories beyond our immediate membership.
I believe this is great way to introduce potential members to the club and build awareness of the worthy projects being delivered by Committees. Not all Committee Chairs were represented. There will be further opportunities to hear from other committees as we continue the fortnightly routine of committee presentations.
The message Iโd like to leave with you is โeach one bring oneโ is a call to action for members at each and every club meeting. Please keep this in mind when socialising with friends, colleagues and members. I look forward to meeting your contacts at future meetings.
A reminder that if you are unable to attend meetings, all meetings (except offsite and/or fellowship nights) are broadcasted live on Zoom. Our meetings are essentially hybrid meetings and you and your family are most welcome to attend on Zoom. The Zoom link is published on each meeting Registration invitation or see Secretary Justine.
As advised by Adrian Campbell at our meeting, Myeloma month will be in March this year and on Sunday 5 March at 11:00 am, the national 38mate Walk will be held. This coincides with the Hawthorn Makers Market and the walk will begin at its location at the Boroondara Town Hall, along Glenferrie Road and back. Admission fee is $20 and Myeloma tee shirts and 38mate caps will be available for sale at $20 each. A reminder will be emailed to all members. I hope you can support this worthy cause.
Thank you, Jeevan Vasimalla, Kristina Nicol, Nadia Hamilton, and Nav for assisting at the last Camberwell Sunday Market.
Next week a report of John Walmlsey and Justine Paragreenโs recent visit to Timor Lester to oversee a water project financially supported by a club consortium, will be presented.
Happy anniversary and a big congratulations to Graeme and Sue Hope, who celebrated a wonderful 50 years of marriage on February 2nd.
Graeme and Sue, from all at the club, a great round of applause and standing ovation for this tremendous achievement, and may the next chapter bring you just as much joy.

Rotary Peace Fellows use their training to amplify their work at the local, regional, or global level. Clubs and districts can partner with them on peacebuilding initiatives before, during, and after their fellowships.
But we need your help finding candidates. Rotary and Rotaract members can get involved by:
Taking the All About the Rotary Peace Fellowship course to learn about the qualification criteria, eligibility restrictions, the application process, and more
Forwarding the fellowship announcement to your contacts and including it in club and district communications
Using our referral form to tell us about potential candidates so we can contact them
Sharing a PowerPoint presentation about the fellowships with your club members and community
