Hello everyone,

Two years ago, you registered to attend the Rotary Peace Summit that was held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre the day before the 2019 Victorian Mukti District Rotary Conference.  The Peace conference was a great success.

It is now my pleasure to invite you to the 2021 The Future of Peace Leadership  symposium  being held to celebrate the centenary of Rotary in Australia. The program promises to be even more exciting than the 2019 event (see flyer below)

Well known ABC Journalist Ali Moore has agreed to facilitate a thought provoking  panel discussion titled  “ How can we reverse the Doomsday Clock?”  Gareth Evans AC, Steve Killelea AM and PRIP Ian Riseley OAM will be on the panel.

You will be able to register for two of the following optional sessions:

ESRAG update - get involved
Did you know - Rotary now has an Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG).  https://www.esrag.org ESRAG is an international organization with 14 directors and almost 1100 members from over 57 different countries. I am very excited about ESRAG’s impact in assisting Rotary clubs, Rotary Districts and Rotarians worldwide in planning, implementing and evaluating service projects, building awareness, and inspiring action to promote environmental sustainability.
We have a very active group in our region of the world called ESRAG ANZPI (Australia, New Zealand, Pacific Islands). I am inviting you to have a look at our website to see what we are doing: https://www.esraganzpi.org

We need people like you to get involved and TAKE ACTION. We would like to know and share what you as an individual and your Rotary Club are doing to improve the environment. Whether it is helping your club or joining a project as a volunteer, ESRAG ANZPI is here to assist you in solving the Environmental Challenges our world faces in communities around the world. You can see existing project stories on the ESRAG ANZPI website https://www.esraganzpi.org/projects/.  An example of one of these is shown below for you.

We are actively working on growing our membership in ESRAG and in our Chapter. Our membership costs are quite low, starting at US$30 for a regular membership or US$100 for a contributing membership and I am asking District 9810 Rotarians who care about environmental sustainability and global climate change to consider membership using this link:  https://www.esrag.org/join
Thanks, and all the best,
Fabienne Nicola

See below for our club's contribution to this key area of focus for the RC Camberwell

(from VietNam)
Hello Everyone,
Thought you would like to see a few more photos of the recently finished Kon Trang Kep water well.
Over the last couple of weeks, Kon Tum was in lock down. Today (pictured below) was their first day of freedom!!! Mr John & Mr Hau went out to the well to take photos for me. They are amazing in their support of the Minorty people & have always been incredibly helpful in support of my projects. Enjoy the photos
Regards Sue Grey (honarary member, Rotary Club of Camberwell)
