We gather together on the lands of the traditional custodians, the Wurundjeri and Woi Wurrung people. We pay our respects to all of Melbourneโs First Peoples, to their ancestors and Elders, and to our shared future together.

It was a great to see members returning for their holiday break and attend what was effectively our first โnormalโ meeting back at Conochie Hall. Our guest speaker Peter Warner outlined what has been a life-long commitment serving the Camberwell Magpies Cricket Club. Other guests accompanying Peter were long standing friends Mark Graven, Anthony Hall and Don McQueen who is โNomadโ Rotarian of many years. Peter has been part of an organisation which has contributed significant community benefits through the provision of local sport. The Cricket ground is an integral part of Camberwell life for many families across many generations. The strong growth of junior teams and women and girlsโ teams promote positive personal development, skills and inclusiveness of our local community. Boroondara is fortunate to have Peterโs commitment and dedication in his role. Although through different pathways, both our clubs share a common aspiration to make a positive impact in our local community. We hope to have an ongoing relationship with the Camberwell Cricket Club in the future. As a first step our members have been invited to take part in their golf day on 3 March at the Box Hill Golf Club. Interested members can find details below.
