When you serve to change lives, your actions today can help extend the lives of others.
 
  • Congratulations to Geoff Heath on recently turning 80, Geoff was inducted on the 1/6/1983 and has been a valuable contributor to many Rotary projects and the broader community for many years, well done Geoff and keep up the good work
 
  • Bunnings BBQ Saturday 28th May – volunteers urgently required for the afternoon shift
 
  • District Assembly (virtual) on zoom Saturday 28th May 10am - Noon
District Assembly is a must attend forum for new members, club officers, directors, committee chairs and project leaders. Collaborate, be inspired and take action with other club leaders at the upcoming online District Assembly. The sessions give all participants valuable new ideas to take back to their clubs and clusters. Some of the most experienced district leaders will conduct informative discussions on all phases of Rotary administration and service projects. So let’s get on board folks
 
  • International committee in collaboration with honorary member Sue Gray has been gathering medical goods to send a large quantity of burns and wound dressings, bandages and slings to The Ukraine via The International Coordination of Medical Aid for Ukraine and the Rotary Club of Ballarat D9780 .  These goods will be transported by an RAAF Hurcules to the UK then on to The Ukraine.
 
  • Next week 25th May – Art Show Sponsors night @ HQ , A must attend evening as the club needs members to attend and support our sponsors , spitting image will be catering

  • Wednesday 1st June – fellowship night $40 per head  2 course meal contact Anne Murphy – places are limited so book NOW
  • Tuesday 21st June & Wednesday 22nd June – important dates to hang painting for the Art Show – help needed – contact David Troon
  • Wednesday 7th July Club Changeover @ Amora – look out for booking details
  • New member induction for Andy Chappell has been scheduled for next Wednesday the 25th May
 
  • Vale - Mr. John Mcintosh – members mourn the passing of our esteemed past member  John McIntosh, just shy of his 99th birthday John passed away on the 10th May. John was inducted in 1971 and was an active & valuable club member having been on the board of management for more than 20 years as club secretary. John also received a Paul Harris fellow recognition

The closing date for applications is Saturday 4th June with the awards to be presented at the District Changeover on 25th June 2022.
