Have you bought the RCC Cookbook yet? Kerry Anne's initiative during our lockdown last year was to obtain recipes from many of our members. She has put together this beautiful "RCC Can Cook" recipe book, with all funds going to Rotary International projects. Compiled in soft cover, it will easily fit in your kitchen - everything from "Morning munchies" to "Delightful desserts". And... still only $20!!! Get your copy of the RCC CookBook at the next meeting, or contact Kerry Anne. May is National Myeloma Month - and for the Rotary Club of Camberwell, our ROMP project. ROMP - the Rotary Outreach Myeloma Program - is our Club's Centenary year project, in collaboration with Myeloma Australia. Myeloma is an incurable blood cancer, of no known cause, which affects approximately 2000 Australians every year. This RC100 accredited project is designed to provide access for all people diagnosed with Myeloma in Victoria to have easy access to a Myeloma support nurse and support group, run in-person or via virtual means. Our club ROMP committee are pleased to report that all 9 jurisdictions across Victoria, supported by local Rotary clubs, are now linked into this excellent program. More is being done, with a "38mate" program about to be launched - watch this space! If you haven't yet received your copy of the ROMP newsletter, ask Adrian Campbell or Peter Allen for a copy. I think what puts this in perspective is the second wave being experienced in India currently, who are sadly experiencing record infections across their country. Below is the editorial from Rotary History Global Fellow (RHGF( bulletin, from April 2021, written by Jeetendra Sharma, Editor-in-chief of RHGF's newsletter.
