Murray is a member of the Rotary Club of Williamstown and was Governor of District 9800 in 2014 - 2015.

Professionally Murray is a retired medical practitioner and worked for 36 years in his general practice along his wife who is also a GP.

Murray took on the role of End Polio Now Coordinator for Rotary Zone 8 from 1st July 2022. He is looking forward to supporting Clubs as Rotary gets closer to its goal of a poloio free World.
