Managing "Servants Community Housing" in challenging times.

Amanda operated a catering company before moving to the Northern Territory to work with the Yolgnu people of Easr Arnham Land for five years and Darwin for ten years in community development and adult education. Amanda returned to Melbourne in 2010 to work with Servants Community Housing and has been involved in the growth of the organisation from one property housing 38 people to four properties housing 95 people. Amanda is now CEO and is passionate about creating housing communities where respect, dignity, hope and oppurtunity are nurtured, particularly for people with mental illness and substance use issues
