The “3.8 with a mate” walk
Sunday 6th March – from the Hawthorn Makers Market
Thank you to everyone who has signed on for the Rotary Club of Camberwell’s “3.8 with a mate” walk and to the others who have sought more information with a view to joining us. The numbers are building.
The concept is simple and the walk is not onerous. Less than 3.8 kms, it is suitable for all ages -  for pushers, prams, wheel chairs, dogs on leads, scooters etc. - a great outing for the whole family as we build awareness of myeloma in our community.
Our walkers – “Team Myeloma” - will gather at the ROMP stand at the Maker’s Market at from 10.30 AM. Wearing our “Team Myeloma” T-shirts and 38 mate caps (for those who have one), we will walk in groups at your choice of 11.00 AM or 1.00 PM. The route is a pleasant amble northwards up Glenferrie Road to Barkers Road (MLC corner), then back down the other side to the market.

“3.8 with a mate” is a fundraising program of Myeloma Australia supported by the Rotary Club of Camberwell.  The entry fee is $38 per person. The club will match members’ entry fees with a matching $38 (to a maximum of $2000.)
To allow time for delivery of your T-shirt by mail we recommend that you register now.
