On Saturday the 24th August the Club conducted our 3rd Sausage Sizzle for the year at Bunnings Hawthorn, and what a beauty it was!Busy from start to finish, we churned through some 820 sausages, 20kg of sliced onions, and bread to serve it all on. Thanks to all the hard-working volunteers and the hungry customers, we took in $698 in cash and $2,358 through the two Tyros. Our BBQ Captain Nadia, with an eye to bargains and specials kept the cost of consumables down to $610, giving us a surplus on the day of $2,446! A record! So once again thanks to Nadia and the volunteers.
