The Hawthorn December 1 Makers Market capped off 2024 as the year's best-attended market brimming with Christmas spirit and seasonal cheer. The sunny day set the perfect stage for over 70 stallholders, both indoors and outdoors, offering a diverse range of handmade gifts, seasonal decorations and unique treasures. We also welcomed Boroondara Mayor Cr Sophie Torney and former Mayor Cr Felicity Sinfield.
Highlights included the ever-popular Rotary cakes, alongside beautifully crafted jewellery, children’s wear, woodwork, pottery and needlework. Christmas decorations were also a crowd favourite. Adding to the festive atmosphere was Sing Australia who performed Christmas carols. Our regular children’s face painter also brought smiles to young faces.
