Fathers' Day attendance at the Hawthorn Makers Market ' is normally down on numbers. Family commitments naturally take precedence.
But our Sunday 1st September Market reversed trends with Mums, Dads and the Kids coming along. Even the family Dog got a gig! (see pic).
We were lucky with the weather and were happy with the overall outcome. Rotary cash donations were up with EFTPOS contributions growing in popularity.
Several new stallholders joined us including Momoka Iwata and her Japanese Needlecraft (see pic).
Madeliene Rothe- Children's book author with her latest book 'Just One Piece' (see pic).
On the culinary side of things, The Bakery Queen (Marie Drinkwater), had scones, cakes and cookies galore on offer (see pic).
Was also great having new member Amadini Perera volunteer on the day (see pic).
