Due to the recent extension of Lockdown 6, the Gala Opening of the new Yarra Bank Reserve Playground featuring a unique interactive play sculpture cannot be held on the 12th September as originally planned.
Designed by world renowned play equipment artist Benjamin Gilbert of Agency of Sculpture, this wonderful and unique sculpture is a gift to the community from Rotary to mark the 100th anniversary of Rotary in Australia.
The Organising Committee has decided to set a new date of 21st November, and we sincerely hope this is the last time we have to reschedule.
We are determined that this significant Rotary 100 Project involving significant contributions from the Rotary Club of Camberwell, other Boroondara clubs and Rotary District 9800 WILL be celebrated in a suitable fashion.
