Club member Adrian Campbell was part of a guest speaker panel at the Windsor Hotel last Friday 9th Feb. The day was organised by Prof Hang Quach and her team of haematologists at St Vincent's Hospital - and featured latest developments and new drug trials in all the blood cancers - leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
Over 150 doctors, drug trial coordinators, nurses, and people living with blood cancers attended. Myeloma Australia were also involved and their part time nurses were on the front desk sharing publications and information about the services of the only specific myeloma focussed foundation in Australia.
Adrian had his photo taken with the nurses and was able to share the Camberwell Rotary ROMP developments in regional Victoria.

These conferences are expected to continue as the whole community of blood cancers work together to get better outcomes for patients. Let's all support our Club Myeloma Walk on 3rd March at 11am from the Hawthorn Makers Market - it doesn't matter if you walk 200m or 2 kms - your involvement is important.
You can register $20 to walk prior to the event on the Myeloma Aust website - follow My Greatest Walk links to the Hawthorn Market walk in Melbourne
New merchandise is also available to purchase - baseball caps are $20 and new tee shirts in a variety of sizes for $30 (please order by 22/2 to ensure they are delivered prior to the walk)
Let's continue to work to support those living with this uncommon, incurable blood cancer.
